Not only do I next to never wear shorts (but I believe that statement is now void for this summer), I also almost never wear a swimsuit. Never had the occasion for it. Until now. First summer of independence (haven’t quite gotten there yet… but I’ll have some summer left, assuming the rain is nice to me) — I’m determined to own a flattering two piece. God knows where I’ll look, probably H&M, they haven’t steered me wrong yet. (price or style)
I have some baby belly chub, not gonna lie. But I know how to suck in. It only looks worse if I sit. Or just don’t suck it in. Pictures to come!
Makeup
I know I promised a swimsuit post soon, but I abhor the mall. Especially during sale times. Like today, the day before Father’s Day. Instead, I went for the next best thing.
I’m fairly sure most of my makeup is expired, bacteria-ridden (EW) or just plain OLD. What better time than now, when I’m avoiding overcrowded fitting rooms and their respective lines, to go for some new makeup instead? Just the basics. I’m not nearly as talented as some of the bloggers I follow (Doe Deere…*cough*)… but the basics suffice for me.
Currently, my routine consists of an exfoliating scrub and … lipgelee. For all those not in the MAC know, sheer lipgloss.
